Senior Food Traders

Candidates should be:

• Third level educated
• Able to work on his/her own initiative and as part of a team
• A confident communicator
• Commercially aware of opportunities
• Able to prioritise efficiently
• Willing to travel at short notice
• Able to use common sense and judgement to inform one’s decision making

And have:

• A minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience
• Strong spreadsheet and numerical skills

The ability to speak a second language would be an advantage. A background in trading food or food products is preferable but not essential.

Junior Food Traders

Candidates should be:

• Third level educated
• Able to work on his/her own initiative and as part of a team
• A confident communicator
• Possessed of strong spreadsheet and numerical skills
• Able to prioritise efficiently
• Willing to travel at short notice
• Able to use common sense and judgement to inform one’s decision making

The ability to speak a second language would be an advantage. You will be introduced to the world of food trading, primarily pork and poultry products. You will deal with customers and suppliers and be required to make commercial decisions/trades. The job will provide you with experience of procurement, production, sales & logistics.
